About DailySmile

DailySmile started in april 2013. With six health students, five from Groningen (Holland) and one from Barcelona (Spain), we build up this website. We are four speech therapy students and two nutrition and dietetic students.
DailySmile is part of our project for our minor/specialization International Allied Health. For our specialization we need to start a project that is international and multidisciplinary interesting. DailySmile is an international project that has developed a speech program. We also did information research about cleft for  T.E.S.S. Unlimited, Guatemala. T.E.S.S. Unlimited is an organisation  that is dedicated to children with a cleft. There are no clear statistics but it is estimated that in Guatemala there are approximately 3500 children who are born with a cleft, each year.
